Band Information

Cornerstone Concert Hall
at “The Hangout”

Thank you for your inquiry regarding playing a show at the Hangout. Here is how we operate:

We basically book nights to an individual or to a band who “produces” a show. The Producer is responsible for lining up the other bands and promoting the show. We split the door proceeds 50/50 and the producer makes any financial arrangements with the bands playing.

The Hangout will only book shows eight weeks or less in advance. We have found that the shows booked 3-4 months in advance often fall apart by the time the performance date arrives. The exception to this will be booking national or regional touring acts and special benefit concerts.

If you are interested in producing a show, you should go to our Calendar. Here you can check our online calendar to see what nights are available. During the school year, shows are booked on Saturdays, although we will occasionally do Fridays. We do not book shows on weekdays during the school year, however, in the summer, shows can be any night of the week.

Once you find an available date, email our General Manager, Rick Scaletta, at hangoutbookings@verizon.net, to let him know you’d like it. Then, download the “Producer’s Packet” below. Be certain to read the guidelines and other information carefully. Return the signed agreement form ASAP. We only hold show dates for 10 days. Also, please visit the Band Info links above to find further information about performing and publicizing and to learn about the equipment of the concert hall.

If you are a band without the resources to produce a show (you are from out of town, etc.) you may be able to get on a show by one of two ways. First, you should notice that on our online calendar when a night is booked, the producer’s email is listed. You may contact that producer to see if you can get on the show. You can also contact the Hangout’s most successful producer, Mike Torti, at xMTx@hotmail.com. He books many shows at the Hangout and may be willing to talk to you about including your band on a show.

Please understand that the Hangout does not come with a ready made audience. We are not like a dance club. Kids come on specific nights to hear specific bands so you must be sure to promote your concert to get an audience.

Thank you and best of luck with your show!
