Organization
There will be two divisions:

• Division I - bands together one year or less (Aug 4, 7-11pm)
• Division II - bands together one year or longer (Aug 5, 7-11pm)

Time Schedule
Bands will perform from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. Approximately 20 minutes will be allotted for each band. There will be approximately seven bands per divison.

Judging
Three judges will judge each band in four categories: musicianship, showmanship, professionalism, and music techinque. A fourth score will come from audience vote based on percentage of votes earned. You can click here to download a PDF of the scoring rubric.

Prizes
Division I:
First place: Studio time to record one song at TMJ Recording Studio. Also, one free case of Jones Soda!

Division II:
First place: Studio time to record one song at TMJ Recording Studio OR $150.00 cash. One free case of Jones Soda!

Email hangoutbookings@verizon.net with the following information:

• Band name
• Band member names and instruments played
• Number of years (months) the group has been together
• Website
• MP3 of the band if not available on the website

Bands selected for the Battle will be notified by July 28th. Your perfomance time will be emailed by August 1st or earlier.

Admission to the Battle will cost $7.00.
